Warning: these crackle animals may lead to snack stampedes. With crunchy puffed rice, gooey peanut butter and that nostalgic chocolate crackle taste, they’re a hit with the little ones (and the grown-ups too!). Plus we’ve used our brain-boosting Choc Whiz, meaning there’s no sugar crash in sight.
1. Mix together the choc whiz, melted coconut oil (except 1 tsp), vanilla extract and maple syrup in a jug.
2. Mix together peanut butter and 1 tsp of coconut oil and heat to pourable.
3. Add the puffed rice to a bowl, add half of the chocolate mixture, mix to combine.
