200g fresh strawberries, tops removed and quartered
Piping bag
Heart cookie cutters (2 sizes)
Method
Preheat oven to 340°F.
Make the filling: Add the cream cheese to a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together until smooth, then add agave powder and Collagen Beauty, mix to combine, then add 1 egg yolk. Mix to combine. Place in a piping bag.
Make the egg wash: Mix together 1 whole egg and 1 tbsp water until well combined.
Lay out puff pastry sheets, then using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out your pastry hearts and place on a lined baking tray.
Using the next cookie cutter size down, press down gently into the hearts to create an outline, but not go through to the bottom.
Pipe on the cream cheese mixture into the smaller heart shape. Then brush the outer heart edge with the egg wash mixture.
Top with sliced strawberries. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Dust with sifted agave powder to serve.
