The main difference between Veggie Hero and Brekkie Hero is the taste. Refractance window drying is the name of the drying method of choice for all of Nutra Organics fruit and veggie powders, the reason we use it is simply because it’s the best. Refractance window drying is the most effective drying method for nutrient retention which is super important when we’re talking about water soluble vitamins and antioxidants (hello Berry Immune!). We want as much of these volatile nutrients in our product as possible, other drying methods such as spray drying/drum drying involve high heat which destroy these precious nutrients in seconds. It also goes without saying that if this method is the best for nutrient retention, it’s also the clear winner for savouring the colour, flavour and aroma of our fruit powders which is why Berry Immune tastes as good as it looks.
