Our naturopathically developed Collagen Beauty utilises scientifically researched VERISOL® bioactive collagen peptides, which targets skin, supporting collagen synthesis, and healthy skin, hair and nails .⁣ Together with organic wholefood bioavailable sources of Vitamin C and Zinc. And with a generous amount of collagen in every serve (7-10g depending on the flavour) - you'll experience faster & better results than most other products that only provide 3g or less collagen per serve.

Currently there is no scientific evidence to suggest collagen peptides negatively impact cholesterol levels. Some studies actually show the opposite - collagen peptide supplementation can reduce free cholesterol and improve the ratio of good (HDL) to bad (LDL) cholesterol but while promising, these studies are too few to draw conclusive results.

Collagen peptides are a safe, nutritionally-dense source of beneficial essential amino acids, the building blocks of protein. If you have a specific medical concern, we would recommend consulting your primary healthcare provider before using the product.

We suggest avoiding using Collagen Beauty in just water, as while it is unflavoured, you may still detect a taste due to the natural flavour of bovine collagen. It's worth noting that some customers still enjoy drinking it in water, depending on their personal preference. However, we label it "Unflavoured" because we haven't added any flavors to it, unlike our other Collagen Beauty products.

If you mix the collagen into smoothies, coffee, juices, baking, or gummies, you shouldn’t notice any taste. To get some inspiration, we have a range of recipes on our website.

Collagen Hot Chocolate supports relaxation in a couple of ways. It is a low sugar, indulgent ritual which can encourage some quiet, relaxation and winding down in the evening. It also contains Magnesium which is able to support nerve and muscle function contributing to a calm mind and relaxed body.

With Monk Fruit, Thaumatin and carob. Monk Fruit is an ancient native fruit of Thailand & China that contains naturally occurring antioxidants known as ‘mogrosides’. Thaumatin is a very sweet protein sourced from the katemfe fruit. Carob is a naturally earthy and sweet legume. The combination of these ingredients provides a smooth, well-rounded sweetness that compliments the cocoa without the need for refined sugar or the bitter aftertaste of other natural sweeteners. Our Collagen Hot Chocolate has 0.4g of sugar per serve, so it a great low sugar indulgence.

Gelita’s status as a publicly listed company also ensures a high standard of governance and controls.

Our bovine collagen is sourced from Brazil and Germany, upcycling the parts of the agriculture industry that would otherwise go to waste. As with other matcha containing products, there is some naturally occurring caffeine in our product (approximately 26 mg per serve). So we do advise on all our products to seek advice from your health care professional on taking our products if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We only say so as we believe that every pregnancy is different, taking a toll differently on each individual body in vitamin, mineral and energy levels. We invite you to research the product to ensure that you are not sensitive to any particular ingredients.

We use premium culinary matcha, the second harvest tea leaves, providing beautiful colour and rich, distinctive robust flavour to blended preparations (like lattes and smoothies). Our Organic DōMatcha® is 100% authentic Japanese ground matcha, directly from Kagoshima and Uji, Kyoto where Japanese matcha originated.

Matcha green tea naturally contains caffeine, and offers the body and mind a more sustained energy option.

Due to the popularity of our collagen range and our matcha latte, we have decided to combine them both and offer you the best of both worlds: the glowing benefits of collagen alongside with uplifting and energising benefits of matcha green tea.

Like any beverages or foods that contain caffeine, they should be avoided at night time if you plan to have peaceful night sleep. However due to individual differences we understand that some people might enjoy a cup of matcha at night and not be impacted by caffeine. So this one is totally up to you.
